I think this sentence means that we're always either running to get what we need (food), or we're running from danger (from being eaten).
“奔跑,不要走路,你要嘛是為食物而奔跑,要嘛是為了逃避被吃”。
它強調了『奔跑』的重要性,並暗示了在自然界中生物之間的競爭和捕殺。
In a wilderness, this makes more sense, since getting food is difficult, and becoming some animal's dinner is also a possibility. It makes less sense when we're living in a place where there are many more restaurants than bears.
